Hi, I'm Art

I am the founder of My breathing Space. I chose this name because I place particular emphasis on breath throughout the practice.

After working as a video artist specializing in theater and dance, I became very interested in the link between the body and the mind. It was this interest that prompted me to pursue my research and travel to India to learn yoga and its various techniques such asana, pranayama, breathwork, bandha, mudra, mantra, meditation and sound healing.

The practice has enabled me to learn more about the importance of breath on our body, our emotions, our nervous system, our capacity for relaxation and even our performance in certain areas.

I now have over 8 years of professional experience in the field of yoga, and I'd like to share my skills and the incredible benefits of breathing exercises, still little exploited in Europe today. Based on a posturo-respiratory method, I invite you to experience the benefits of improved breathing.

When I'm not teaching or practicing on my mat in Europe or India, I'm enjoying composing and playing music, cycling or hiking in nature.

Hi, I'm Rachel

With a scientific mind and a medical background, I was quite reluctant to yoga at first. And so, like for many, my yoga journey began due to a lack a flexibility and unexplained backpain from a very young age. As my practice and experience grew, my thirst for knowledge and understanding opened Pandora's box.

I am grateful to have received teachings from Tony Purcell and Gillian Mooney (Ashtanga Vinyasa) in Dublin, Balaram Chandra Das (Yoga & Ayurveda) in Chiang Mai, Dr Mandlik (Hatha Yoga) at Yoga Vidya Gurukul ashram in Nasik, Santosha at Yogadarshanam in Mysore, and I trained in the posturo-respiratory system from Dr Bernadette de Gasquet institute (Paris). Last I was blessed to spend one month on the mat practicing yoga and pranayama with Dr Prahlad in Mysore in February 2024.

In 2016, I created the school Yoga Bon'Heure in Nouméa, New Caledonia. The school offered Yoga and Pilates from beginners to advanced level, with an emphasis on posture, breathing and alignment. I had to put in on hold due to the events that took place in May 2024. I am so grateful for all the students I met there. They gave me the opportunity to pass on the light I had received, and keep on receiving, from my various teachers.
